Sculpture

Through the combination of plant fibres and man-made fibres with traditional and contemporary basket making techniques I make figurative and abstract sculpture which responds to my experiences and interactions with people and places. My woven sculptural work, titled Box Jelly Fish, which was comprised of five life sized jelly-fish woven from transparent fishing line,  was recently selected as winner of third prize for the prestigious Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize at the Museum of  South Australia.
